A week of competition for adults 50 and older

The Western Colorado Senior Games are open to adults age 50 and older and offer activities for a range of interests and abilities.

This year's events include basketball, billiards, horseshoes, pickleball, a 5K walk or run and more. The City of Grand Junction is also partnering with Fruita Parks and Recreation to offer disc golf.

Competitions and activities will be held at multiple locations around the city throughout the week.

Now in its 25th year, the Senior Games have become a longstanding Western Colorado tradition centered on active living, healthy aging and social connection. While competition is part of the experience, the event also gives participants an opportunity to meet other older adults and take part in recreational activities across the community.
