Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, and the Western Slope is making a weekend of it. Fruita and Delta open their streets to trick-or-treaters on Friday, Montrose throws its Candy Crawl on Saturday, and Grand Junction's costume parties run both nights. Add a ballet at the Asteria, a marathon on Rim Rock Drive, and clocks that fall back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, and you have a weekend worth planning.
