The Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center (GMAEC) in Cedaredge is hosting a wide range of concerts, exhibitions, youth programs, and creative workshops throughout March 2026. Located on the south side of the Grand Mesa in Delta County, the venue has become an important gathering place for arts and culture on Colorado’s Western Slope.

This month’s schedule includes live music performances, gallery exhibitions from regional artists, hands-on art classes, and family-friendly programming. From spoken word open mics to blues concerts and youth orchestra performances, the Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center continues to offer a mix of professional and community arts events.

Spoken Word Open Mic – “When Words Become Breath”

This community open mic invites poets, storytellers, and first-time performers to share original work in a supportive listening environment.

Daniel Loge – “Brush with Nature”

On display through March 15

This exhibition features paintings inspired by Western Colorado landscapes, including scenes from the Grand Mesa and surrounding valleys.

Dale Russell Smith – “A Retrospective”

March 16–29

This retrospective showcases decades of work from regional artist Dale Russell Smith, including landscapes, figurative works, and abstract compositions.

The theater at the Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center regularly hosts concerts and live performances.

Mamie’s High Tea

Hazel Miller Trio

Colorado vocalist Hazel Miller brings a mix of blues, soul, and R&B to Cedaredge for two evenings of live music.

Through its Youth Empowerment through the Arts (YEA!) initiative, the Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center offers free arts education programs for Pre-K through high school students.

Weekly youth programs include:

• Artful Architects – Second and Fourth Wednesdays
• Little Rhythms Music Awareness – Thursdays, 10–11 AM

This family workshop invites children and caregivers to create artwork together under the guidance of a teaching artist.
