As roadwork continues across Grand Junction, several active projects may affect your commute this week. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, follow posted detours, and use caution around crews.


🚧 City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

Linden Ave. Water Project

  • Linden Ave. closed between Unaweep Ave. and Hwy. 50local traffic only
  • Roubideau St. closed between Unaweep Ave. and Santa Clara Avelocal traffic only
  • Santa Clara Ave. closed between Roubideau St. and Palisade St.
    ➡️ Please follow detour signs and directions from traffic control personnel.

2025 Accessible Sidewalk Project

  • 9th St. closed at Walnut Ave. (north side of Walnut only)
  • Access to nearby residences will remain open.

🚧 Non-City Projects with Travel Restrictions

I-70 Business Loop Improvements (CDOT)

  • First Street: reduced to one lane
  • Ute Ave. & Pitkin Ave.: reduced to one lane in active construction segments

Xcel Energy – 25 Road Natural Gas Replacements Project

  • 25 Road closed from north of Patterson Rd. to south of F 1/2 Rd.
  • Access remains open for residents.
    ➡️ Drivers should follow posted signs, detours, and traffic control.
