Latest closures and detours to help you plan your travel

The City of Grand Junction and partner agencies have several active infrastructure projects that may affect local travel. Drivers are encouraged to review the updates below, allow extra time when passing through work zones, and follow all posted signs and traffic-control directions.


City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

Linden Ave. Water Project

  • Linden Ave. is closed between Unaweep Ave. and Hwy. 50, open only to local traffic.
  • Roubideau St. is closed between Unaweep Ave. and Santa Clara Ave, local traffic allowed.
  • Santa Clara Ave. is closed between Roubideau St. and Palisade St.
  • Drivers should follow marked detours and obey all traffic-control personnel.

Non-City Projects with Travel Restrictions

Xcel Energy – 25 Road Natural Gas Replacements

  • 25 Road will be closed from F 1/4 Rd. to Waite Ave.
  • Residential access will remain open.
  • Please follow detours, signage, and traffic-control instructions through the area.

Western Slope Trellis will continue monitoring these projects and provide updates as conditions change. If you encounter delays, consider alternate routes and use caution near crews working to improve local infrastructure.
