The City of Grand Junction is encouraging residents to help shape the community's future by participating in the 2026 Community Satisfaction Survey, which is now open to the public through July 20, 2026.
The survey provides residents with an opportunity to share their opinions on city services, community priorities, and future investments. City officials say the feedback will help guide planning efforts and inform policy decisions in the years ahead.
Earlier this summer, the City mailed surveys to a random sample of 5,400 households. Responses from those households will serve as the statistically representative sample used to measure community satisfaction.
To ensure every resident has a chance to participate, the City also launched an open-link survey on July 7. While responses from the open survey will be analyzed separately from the scientific sample, they will still be included in the City's overall review and help identify community concerns, priorities, and emerging trends.
Community surveys play an important role in helping local governments understand how residents view public services and where improvements may be needed.
The results can influence future decisions on issues such as infrastructure, parks and recreation, public safety, transportation, community amenities, and other City programs. By hearing from a broad range of residents, City Council and staff can better align future investments with community needs.
