📅 Friday, November 28th at 5:30 p.m.

Montrose kicks off the holiday season each year with the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, held on Friday, November 28th at 5:30 p.m.

Participants enjoy hot cocoa & cookies provided by Rosemont Church, caroling, and the exciting countdown by Santa to light Montrose’s festive Christmas Tree at the Montrose County Courthouse, 320 S 1st St, Montrose, CO 81401.

We will have quick messages from the City and County, along with musical performances from Maslow Academy and the Montrose High School Choir.

Once the tree has been lit, we will have several other festivities that night.  We will hold a light performance presented by Lumanity Shows at the Montrose Visitor Center, and the Valley Youth Orchestra will hold a performance at the Montrose Police Department Community Room.

All of this will lead you down S 1st Street from the Tree Lighting Ceremony to Santa’s Cabin, which opens for the first time this holiday season.
