Montrose residents will have an opportunity to hear directly from city leadership and connect with local departments during the City of Montrose’s third annual State of the City presentation and open house on Monday, February 23, at the Montrose Pavilion.

The event is designed to provide a current assessment of city operations, highlight key issues and priorities, and give community members a chance to ask questions and learn more about the services the City provides.

What to Expect

The evening will begin with a State of the City presentation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. City leadership will share updates on city operations and discuss some of the most important issues currently facing the Montrose community, along with major projects planned for the year ahead.

An open house will follow from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., featuring tables hosted by each city department. Residents are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and pick up informational materials about how departments are operated and staffed.

“We are very excited to host this third annual State of the City presentation for our community,” said City Manager Bill Bell. “This event gives Montrose residents an opportunity to share in our accomplishments from the prior year and to learn about a few of our major projects for the upcoming year.”

Meet City Staff and City Council

City staff from the City’s core public services and departments will be available to speak with residents throughout the open house. Members of the Montrose City Council are also expected to attend.
