The Positive Access to Community Transition (PACT) Youth Group, hosted by the Center for Independence in Grand Junction, is a weekly event designed to empower young people with disabilities ages 14–25\. Meeting every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00pm at 740 Gunnison Ave, PACT offers a welcoming environment where participants build essential independent living skills ranging from budgeting, cooking, and safety to communication, boundaries, and housing navigation.

Each session is interactive and social, fostering confidence and friendship while addressing real-world challenges. PACT provides hands-on learning, peer support, and mentorship, helping youth develop the skills and connections needed for greater independence in adulthood.

Families, educators, and community organizations are encouraged to refer youth and spread the word about this vital resource.
