Impacts range from neighborhood-level closures to major corridor slowdowns. --- ## 🚧 City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions ### Four Canyons Parkway Project - 25 Road is closed from Blichmann to Waite Avenue through early May - The 25 Road and Waite intersection will remain closed through April 8 - Temporary roadway is in place - Detours are active Drivers should use caution in the area and follow posted detours. --- ### D ½ Road Capacity Improvements - D ½ Road is closed between 29 Road and 30 Road - Access from San Juan to D ½ is closed - Drivers should detour via 29 ½ Road south to D Road - Open to local traffic only --- ### Patterson Road at Matchett Park - Sidewalk closure on the north side of Patterson Road between 28 1/4 and 28 3/4 Roads - Pedestrian detours are in place for the duration of the project --- ### South Broadway and 23 Road Roundabout - 23 Road is closed between Broadway and South Broadway - Detours are in place --- ### Lead Waterline Replacement (Downtown) - Colorado Avenue is closed between 9th Street and 10th Street - Access remains open to local traffic --- ## 🚦 Non-City Projects with Travel Restrictions ### CDOT I-70B Phase 7 Construction - 5th Street reduced to one lane between South Avenue and Colorado Avenue all week - Single lane and shoulder closures on Ute and Pitkin between 3rd and 6th Streets - Ongoing closures on Ute Avenue - 4th Street reduced to one lane between Colorado and Pitkin All business and residential access remains open, but delays are expected. --- ### CDOT CO 340 Resurfacing Project - Single right lane closures on the eastbound bridge - Work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday --- ## ⚠️ What Drivers Should Expect - Multiple detours and reduced travel lanes - Slower traffic across key corridors - Increased congestion during peak hours Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are encouraged to follow posted signage and use caution in active work zones.
